TMA provides small and mid-sized manufacturers the political influence and government relations capabilities that only large corporations can afford. We also promote our members and the industry in the media; giving each a voice in the political and public arenas.
GOVERNMENT RELATIONS TMA works on behalf of its members to establish and expand influence with politicians, government agencies, and decision-makers in order to persuade each to change or maintain policies that benefit small and mid-size manufacturing. More information HERE. LOBBYING TMA provides members the ability to effect public policy through robust issue advocacy and lobbying at the state, county and municipal level. TMA engages Shattuck & Associates to represent members in the Illinois General Assembly on issues impacting small and mid-size manufacturing. More information HERE. POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE TMA provides members a PAC through which they can multiply the impact of their political investments by collectively leveraging their donations with other members in order to increase and amplify their influence and enhance candidate/elected accountability.
