This 16-hour introductory course explains the importance of engineering drawings in manufacturing, and thoroughly describes how drawings are portrayed and information communicated. Those who should attend include all production, inspection, sales, purchasing, drafting, engineering, and quality personnel who are responsible for interpreting and/or manufacturing from engineering drawings.

- Identifying and defining terms related to prints
- Line conventions and lettering
- Title blocks and part lists
- Geometric terms and construction
- Multiview drawings
- Section views
- Auxiliary views
- Screw thread representation
- Machine specifications and drawing notes
- Surface texture symbols
