Roger is a founding Partner of the firm. Roger is engaged in the representation of closely-held businesses and financial instituations with a particular expertise in mergers and acqusitions. He is focused on succession issues and the pursuit of both the growth and exit strategies for their principals.
Roger will be discussing four major points. 1. Framing the deal or preparing the Letter of Intent. 2. Due diligence including financing the transaction. 3. Closing the transaction and transitioning the new owner 4. Post-closing issues including representations and warranties, holdbacks, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements.
Luke Novak - Rothschild Investment Corp.
Luke is a Vice President and member of Rothschild's Executive Committee, which handles all aspects of the firm's strategic direction. After starting with Rothschild in 2004, he formalized the firm's corporate practice in 2006. He and his colleagues have built a clientele of over 100 families and 120 companies.
Luke will be discussing the importance of hiring a financial advisor. He will elaborate on how to create a successful road map to interview, hire, and review an investment advisor. He will highlight how to spot red flags and avoid common investor pitfalls. Finally, he will address ideas and strategies for successful retirement planning and wealth transfers to the next generation.
