Join CAIC for the "U.S. Tariffs & Trade Policy: Where are we headed?" luncheon on July 23rd at UAW Local 551 hall. We will explore what the current state of tariffs means for American manufacturing and workers. 

Our guest speaker will be Scott Paul, President of the Alliance for American Manufacturing (AAM), a non-partisan, non-profit partnership created in 2007 by some of America's leading manufacturers and United Steelworkers union. AAM members include ArcelorMittal, United States Steel Corporation, ATI, AK Steel and Cleveland-Cliffs.

The Women of Today’s Manufacturing (WOTM) is hosting a workshop on Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM): "It’s About Time! Increasing Your Manufacturing Competitive Advantage." Professor Rajan Suri, Founding Director of the Center for Quick Response Manufacturing at the University of WisconsinMadison will present the workshop at Cliffbreakers Riverside in Rockford. Professor Suri is the author of four books on QRM. He is an internationally acclaimed speaker and has received several awards for the development and implementation of QRM strategy in the U.S. industry.
